Six steps to begin to learn to address stress.

Dealing with stress is not easy. Let's do whatever we can to address it.

Six steps to begin to learn to address stress:

  1. Relax your eye brows, neck, forehead, shoulders - max stress takers.

  2. Observe your breath. Slow down and let your breath relax if it's fast.

  3. Disengage from flow of thoughts by actively pointing out that I will address this particularly stressing topic later. Delay don't deny addressing your concerns.

  4. Turn yourself to things that actively make you feel better. A person, a book, a song, art? Go ahead take shelter and relieve yourself.

  5. Set boundaries to things that are hurting you. People? Limit talking to them. Nagging? Listen and acknowledge but don't answer immediately.

  6. Rest and reschedule whatever you can. Not everyone is urgently wanting to get things done. Do it at another scheduled time.

Bonus: don't feel shy to ask for help when things go south.

Address the stress, time and again to not let it hurt you.
